1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Site and 18 years or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to submit a request form. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you submit is truthful, accurate, and complete.

2. Nature of the Service — Advertising Disclosure

DegreeGoals is an advertising-supported education matching service. The schools and programs featured on the Site are advertisers or advertising partners, and we may receive compensation when you submit a request or enroll. This compensation may influence which programs are shown, their placement, and the order in which they appear. We do not feature all schools or programs available in the marketplace, and results on the Site are not exhaustive.

We are not a school, university, admissions office, or accrediting body. We do not admit or enroll students, provide academic advice, guarantee acceptance, financial aid, employment, salary, or any specific outcome. Admissions, tuition, financial aid, and program details are determined solely by the schools.

3. Consent to Be Contacted

By submitting a request form on the Site, you expressly consent to receive marketing communications from DegreeGoals and the schools or partners matched to your request. These communications may be delivered by email, telephone (including mobile), text message (SMS/MMS), and postal mail, and may be sent using automated dialing systems and artificial or prerecorded voices. You understand that:

• Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services or of enrolling in any program;
• Message and data rates may apply;
• You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or contacting us directly.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• Submit false, misleading, or third-party information you are not authorized to submit;
• Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
• Copy, scrape, harvest, reverse engineer, or resell any portion of the Site or its content;
• Interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the Site;
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Site without our written consent; or
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person or entity.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — is the property of DegreeGoals or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. School names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use.

6. Third-Party Sites & Content

The Site contains links to and information from third parties, including schools and advertising partners. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any third-party content, offers, program descriptions, tuition figures, financial aid information, or outcomes. Your interactions with any third party are solely between you and that third party.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEGREEGOALS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DegreeGoals and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and DegreeGoals waive the right to a trial by jury and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing legal@degreegoals.dev.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
